The lion was first developed in the 1960’s in our trademark mahogany brown. For a picture of the original lion, go to “Owners Club” and select the sub menu “Old Friends circa 1965”. In 1974, an Arabian prince commissioned a golden lion; further pieces were made in this colour until the 1980’s but it is no longer available today. Our leather lion is an impressive piece with his full leather mane which is hand dyed, cut and stripped before attaching to the main body of leather. This size is slightly tall for use as a footstool but can be used as an occasional seat.
トレードマークであるマホガニーブラウンのLIONは1960年代に作られました。 オリジナルLIONの写真はHP上の’OWNERS CLUB’から’OLD FRIENDS CIRCA1965’を選ぶとご覧頂けます。 マホガニーブラウンは1980年代まで作られていましたが、今日ではもう作られていません。 この印象的なlionのたてがみは全てレザーで出来きており、 手作業で染め、カットされた後、メインのボディにアタッチされたものです。 こちらのサイズはフットスツールとしてはやや高さがありますが，シートとしてご使用頂けます。

OMERSAで使う革は、天然素材ゆえのシワやキズを一つの個性ととらえ、表面をアクリルコーディングせず、 自然の表現を生かした仕上げをしています。そのため、製品の中にもシワやキズがそのままの表情として入ります。 使い込み、時を経るごとに色に深みと艶が増し、キズやシワも使う人ならではの味となっていきます。 表面のコーティングを行わない為、色移りをする可能性があります。 十分にご注意下さい。また、水分にとても弱い為、 水や、水分が着いてしまった際は不要なウエス等で軽く拭き取ってください。 色落ち補修の準備 補修剤は水性で、永久的なものをご使用ください。 付着した汚れはぬるま湯につけた布巾で拭き取ってください。
